Synchro® Compression for DVT Prevention . . . . . .

synchro-logo

The system provides a sequential wave moving proximally through all three chambers of the garment in 30 seconds. This pressure wave is then relieved for 45 seconds, allowing capillary and venous refill. This three chamber actions increases patient comfort and compliance.

The SYNCHRO™ foot and leg compression garments come in a range of sizes and are finished inside and out with soft velour fabric for increased patient comfort. The two-piece thigh-length garment eliminates material from around the knee area, allowing cooler and more comfortable knee flexion.

Contraindications
Acute pulmonary edema, acute thrombophlebitis, acute congestive cardiac failure, acute infections. Always seek professional medical advice before using any of these products.

Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) remains a major source of complications among hospitalized patients. The SYNCHRO™ sequential compression system increases blood flow to help reduce the risk of DVT in surgical or immobilized patients.

The SYNCHRO™ power unit is used with inflatable leg and foot garments fitted with “intelligent” connectors which interact with the power unit to provide the correct sequential compression therapy according to the garment type used, eliminating the need for manual pressure adjustment. The power unit also recognizes when only one garment is in use and automatically adjusts the therapy, making the SYNCHRO™ extremely flexible and simple to use.
